Your one-stop shop for everyday sorted
Student Services is our Student Reception — based next to the Main Hall, and there for pretty much anything that comes up during your school day.
Signing in and out
Student Services is where you sign in and out if you've got an appointment or need to leave school during the day, . This matters — it's how we know you're safely on site for the attendance register and, importantly, for fire procedures. If there's ever an emergency, we need to know exactly who's in the building.
Late to school? Always come straight to Student Services first, not your classroom.
Feeling unwell or had an accident?
Our medical room is based here, staffed by trained First Aiders who can help with minor ailments and injuries. If you need more than that, we'll act fast — calling your parents/carers or, in a serious situation, emergency services.
A few important things to know:
- The only medicine we can give you is paracetamol for pain relief. It does not help sickness or dizziness.
- We cannot give you ibuprofen or allergy medicine — we dio not stock it
- If you're on regular medication, don't carry it in your bag. Instead, your parent/carer needs to fill in a form telling us dosage and timing, so we can make sure you get the right medicine at the right time
Lost something?
Name it, and we'll find it. If your lost item has your name on it, we can get it straight back to you. If it's not named, it goes into our lost property box — so labelling your stuff really does make life easier.
Parents dropped something off for you?
We'll send you a note to come and collect it at break or lunch — no need to check in, just wait for the note.
No dinner money?
Come to Student Services and we'll call home to ask your parent/carer to top up your Bromcom account. No drama, no fuss — just come and see us.
Period products, pants and tights
We keep free period products, plus spare pants and tights, for any girl who needs them. Just pop in and use the private toilet in Student Services to access these.
Need to call home?
If you need to contact a parent/carer for a genuine reason, come to Student Services and we'll make the call for you. Mobile phones must not be used for this — Student Services will always make the call on your behalf.
