The purpose and intent of studying history at Glebelands School is to share with students the complex dynamics of past societies and cultures.
We frame our learning in class through the lens of historical enquiry, delving into a variety of sources to explore the past. We aim to foster in our students a curiosity for the world around them that will remain with them for the rest of their lives. Our curriculum has been designed specifically to develop students’ curiosity, knowledge, sense of identity and understand their place in the world. Through the course of study students will gain a deep understanding of how and why the world has changed and developed over time.
