Governors

Our Governing Body are a committed group of volunteers whose aims are to ensure the highest standards of achievement for all students by:

Setting the school’s vision, ethos and strategic direction
Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its students
Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent, including the expenditure of the pupil premium allocation
Ensuring that all children, including those with special educational needs, have access to a broad and balanced curriculum
Setting the aims and objectives for the school
Setting the policies for achieving those aims and objectives
Setting the targets for achieving those aims and objectives
Monitoring and evaluating the progress the school is making towards achievement of its aims and objectives.
