Fresh, seasonal, and made with you in mind
The Pantry is our school's catering partner — an external catering business bringing fresh, quality food to Glebelands every day. Menus are refreshed regularly and run on a 3-week rota, using seasonal ingredients and the best produce available. Every meal is made from scratch, daily, by their own trained chef on site — nothing pre-packaged, nothing reheated from elsewhere.

Meal deals: unbeatable value
Meal deals are just £2.80 (2025–26 prices) — honestly, where else are you getting a proper, healthy, hot meal for that price?
Topping up and paying: no cash, no cards
Payments at The Pantry work through biometric fingerprint recognition — students simply place a finger on the scanner at the till to access their account. No money and no cards needed at all, so there's nothing to lose and nothing to forget.
Important: your account needs to be in credit to eat. If there isn't enough balance on the account, The Pantry won't be able to serve a meal — so please make sure accounts are topped up regularly via Bromcom.
Not sure of the balance? There's a balance checker in the canteen where students can check exactly how much credit is on their account before they queue up.
Daily spending
A £6 daily limit is set as standard. If you'd like this raised or lowered for your child, get in touch with our finance team at finance@glebelands.surrey.sch.uk.
Allergies and allergens
Got a question about what's in a meal? Just ask any member of The Pantry's catering team — they'll be able to tell you exactly what's in each dish.
The Pantry is fully compliant with Benedict's Law, the new statutory allergy safety guidance for schools, and their whole team has completed allergen training ahead of its implementation.
Refunds
Need a refund? Fill in the refund form and send it directly to The Pantry — they handle these themselves, so there's no need to go via the school office. The form can be found below.
